What Is The Most rewarding Thing About Being A Writer? I would have to say having someone else read my story and love it. There is no better feeling in the world than when someone offers you a contract after months and months of hopeless emails from publishers and impolite emails from agents saying my writing isn’t where it needs to be to get published. Seriously, I just had one the other day from an agent (I sent her a query letter months ago) tell me that I’m a young writer, so therefore no one’s going to buy my stories because no one knows who I am… she said it was too long, and that I needed to invest in an editor. Then she sat there and edited my first five pages to show me what was wrong. I was like, excuse me? LOL

Everyone who doesn't know... you want like horror short stories, the Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep  volume 3 anthology will be available for purchase 10-28-16! My story, In the Darkness, will be featured in it!

Then there is Ethan Killman, the sexy boy from her new school. He has secrets of his own, and the more time they spend together the more Ethan's barriers he's made for himself start to crumble down. They're instantly falling for each other, and they have a magnetic pull like none other. Ethan will do anything to protect Lyla, even if that means laying down his own life.

 

With Lyla and Ethan get her soul before the demons can get to her and the necklace, or will everything they've done been for nothing?

I'm writing a Christmas short story for Frost On My Pillow. Thought it would be pretty cool considering it is Lyla's first Christmas... and since I didn't get into too much detail on it in the book...
